Design Challenge:

Big-O is a strategic proposal to transform Yeosu New Port as a new hub for the marine industry that will create new added values in the 21st century. Yeosu New Port has so far served as a key port for the southern region of Korea.

We invite you to present creative ideas in connection with the main theme of Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea, “The Living Ocean and Coast,” to transform the Big-O into a specialized space to entertain and to emotionally move visitors, a complex cultural arena which citizens from around the world can enjoy together, and a facility that can be artistically and commercially renewed after the Expo.

Submissions Requirements:
The total project budget is 132.7 billion won; participants should propose ideas that are economically feasible.
