Design Challenge:
In collaboration with the Miami Marlins, Miami-Dade Art in Public Places has identified six opportunities for the integration of public art. It is envisioned that three or more of these opportunities will be implemented. The decision to implement opportunities will be based upon the artists’ site specific project proposals and the recommendations of the Miami-Dade Art in Public Places Professional Advisory Committee. The estimated project budgets for these opportunities are intended to suggest preliminary financial parameters for conceptualizing project proposals and are intended to be inclusive of all costs to design, fabricate, install and implement art projects.

Artists may express interest in one or more opportunities and are required to submit a preliminary statement detailing their initial approach to the public art components for which they intend to address.
