19 January 2018 – Announcement of qualified applicants for participation
23 March 2018 – Stage I design submissions
13 April 2018 – Shortlisted participants for Stage II announced
15 June 2018 – Submission of Stage II Designs
29 June 2018 – Announcement of winners

1st place – PLN 200,000 (approx. US$56,000)
2nd place – PLN 150,000 (approx. US$42,000)
3rd place – PLN 100,000 (approx. US$28,000)

Jury:
The panel will consist of 9 jurors, of which four are architects. The only non-Polish member is Prof John Rink, a Musicologist from the University of Cambridge and a member of the Fryderyk Chopin Institute Programming Council.)

Design Challenge:
The purpose of the competition is to select the best international Music Centre design located in the vicinity of the Birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin and Park in Zelazowa Wola.
