Challenge
To create a permanent memorial that honors and remembers the 26 lives lost at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012. This tragic event received world-wide coverage as one of the most horrific events of gun violence in recent history. The design is to recognize the sensitive nature of this memorial, which should take into account the survivors of this event.
