Awards:
The overall sum of prizes is EUR 170,000, each participant of phase 2 will receive an additional fee of EUR 40,000.
The competition:
The Ukraine State Department of Affairs, represented through the State Enterprise “Mystetskyj Arsenal” invites to a competition on the establishment of an approx. 10 ha culture complex in Kyiv, Ukraine bordering the prominent area of the historic cave monestary Pershersk Lavra, which is listed as UNESCO world heritage.

The first phase of the competition comprises the development of a master plan with consideration of the historic Arsenal building protected rampart foundations.
The task of the second phase comprises the design of several new buldings for this culture complex, amongst others the Museum for Modern Art, the Center of Ukrainian Music including concert halls and the International Center for Cinema and Screen Arts.
