ELIGIBILITY:
Teams comprised of professional planners, architects, landscape designers, engineers and possibly other specialists with competencies that are relevant for the assignment
AWARDS:
5 Shortlisted Teams - DKK 130,000 each
Winner - Commission to act as the authority’s lead consultant in the further work and completion of the master plan for the area. The realisation of the project will be subject to the contracting authority’s final approval.

THE COMPETITION:
Kerteminde Local Authority wishes to explore the development potential of Kerteminde harbour. The harbour is currently composed of a number of areas with individual characteristics and different qualities. It includes a large marina, and Kerteminde harbour is the only harbour on the island of Funen that still has a working fishery harbour. The local authority wishes to develop the harbour so that it becomes an important asset in the urban environment and for business development in the area. A number of specific functions must be fitted into the development plan, and all new initiatives must be such that they are not detrimental to the existing town centre and the attractive natural environment in the harbour area.
