Design Challenge:
The 2010 Habitat for Humanity Design Competition challenges participants to:
- Revitalize Indianapolis neighborhoods through well-designed homes
- Introduce new design ideas and concepts to the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis housing stock plans giving more options to accommodate more families and communities.
Two projects are offered to develop new exterior elevations for an existing house and a new house plan. Submissions can include both or either design options
Submission Requirements:
Individuals or teams may submit design solutions to either or both options. Submissions will not be disqualified by not submitting to both options. There is no entry fee. Submit a digital copy of the graphic board (not hardcopy). Each project submission must contain the following:
Graphic Board
• Size: 24”x24”
• Floor Plan
• Elevation
• Additional presentation graphics
• PDF format
Electronic CAD File
• Floor Plan
• Elevations (4 sides)
• AutoCAD format
All submissions must be received no later than 3:00pm (EST) on the specified date entries are due. Late submissions will not be accepted. The submission may be delivered electronically to the below email address. A confirmation email will be returned. If a confirmation email is not received, please contact Chris Gerrity to confirm.

Please keep the digital file to a reasonable size. The competition committee takes no responsibility for the failure or delay in the submission. It is the responsibility of the entrant to confirm the receipt of the design submission if a confirmation email was not received.
