Submission requirements: Three (3) boards
Design Challenge:
Expanding to a library designed by architect H.H. Richardson
– How would you provide 25,000 square feet of additional space for the library and the services required in the 21st century?
– How does this additional space impact and/or relate to the original building?
– What improvements can be made to the site and surrounding areas to reinforce the library’s critical role as the “center” of town and source of local pride?
